From Detroit, Michigan, Grace Armbruster began her love for dance at the young age of 3 years old where she began in ballet and tap. Throughout her years, she advanced her dancing at Noretta Dunworth School of Dance where she trained, performed and competed in styles such as jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, tap, ballroom, ballet, lyrical, and improvisation. While doing so she also developed close bonds and closely worked with and performed works from choreographers such as Kayla Kalbfleisch, Matt Aylward, Joey Dowling, Adrian Lee, Erica Marr, and many more! Grace is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a Minor in Leadership at Chapman University. Embracing the performance and choreographic experiences she has had thus far at Chapman includes her choreography in the Sophomore show Works In Progress, Choreography in Junior show Frameworks, and performing in numerous other pieces in shows such as CDA, Fall Faculty, Works In progress, Intime, Frameworks, and Mainstage. Through her versatile training and dance background, after college Grace wants to pursue dance as well as creative direction and choreography professionally in all realms of the performance industry.
