Ashton Titus was born and raised in Folsom, CA where she studied dance at Hawkins School of Performing Arts for thirteen years and taught for four. Under the artistic direction of Jacob Gutierrez-Montoya, she performed with the Hawkins Contemporary Jazz Company at prestigious venues across the country. Ashton also danced as both an apprentice and soloist with the Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre from 2015-2020. Her choreography has been recognized at regional choreography festivals, including the Choreographer’s Initiative where she was awarded the grand prize in both 2018 and 2019 for her pieces “Makeba” and “Time’s Up” respectively. Now, Ashton is pursuing her BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Musical Theater at Chapman University, where she is a member of the University Honors Program and Presidential Scholar.
