Aerial Silks Competition Team

AERIAL COMP

This year we are excited to be offering our first Aerial Silks Competition Team. This team will allow experienced students the opportunity to expand their aerial skills and perform in a competitive environment with their TMR teammates. The goal is to compete in three competitions this year but that will be contingent on competition availability.

Below are the required classes for all competition team members. Once you are placed in a class, you may NOT drop out of them and replace them with classes of your choice. Team classes will begin in August.

• (2) 1-hour team classes per week 
• (1) Recreational Aerial class
• (1) Dance Technique or Conditioning class of student’s choice from the following (unless specifically assigned by team instructor): Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary, Strength/Conditioning
• Multiple Category Participation: Choreography class is specific to Aerial silk ONLY
  • Any additional apparatuses (Hoop or Hammock) will need to be choreographed and rehearsed through privates.
  • Private length will be 1hr once a week until choreography is completed; then 30 mins once a week to rehearse
