Ryan Holihan

RYAN HOLIHAN joined TMR as SBK director in Summer 2021. He was born and raised in Southern California and is an alumnus of Orange County School of the Arts (musical theatre). Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from California State University, Fullerton and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre from Ohio University. During high school Ryan landed his first professional role as Lumpy Addams in the feature film, The Addams Family, and numerous acting credits in film, TV, and commercials followed. Ryan’s professional theatre experience includes acting and directing, and he formerly served as the Theatre Program Director at Miami Arts School. He has taught Acting, Theatre History, and Beginning Directing (Graduate Teaching Assistant) at Ohio University, has given guest lectures on the History of American Musical Theatre and the British Playwright, Caryl Churchill. Ryan’s recent directing credits also include Angels in America: Millennium Approaches at the Long Beach Playhouse (Fall 2021) and Angels in America: Perestroika (opens Fall 2022).
